Default What in the world is this?? 99 Accord F23a4

Hello all, I'm a newbie here but I've been trolling quite a while.

I'm confused as to what this is. There is a connector or a plug hanging down near my knock sensor. In fact it's on the same cable as the knock sensor connector.

It's just hanging there and since I don't currently have a knock sensor they both are. What is this for, is it supposed to connect to something, and where should it be bolted

EDIT: oh yea, also the car runs with it just hanging there, it has been for a while..nut great but I think my while stopped stalling is due to a bad o2 (has o2 cel) so I don't think it's hurting anything... just curious as to wtf it is and why it's not bolted to anything

Thanks everyone!

That's junction connector C103, it is normally attached to a holder/connector bracket (which looks like it is still on your connector).

The bracket is mounted from underneath the engine. There is a bolt hole a little above where the knock sensor would be, to re-mount the bracket.

Awesome thank you, wouldn't happen to know where I could find the size of that bolt so I could get another would you? Another I'm missing is the bottom right bolt for the timing belt cover

The bolt for the bracket holding the junction connector may possibly be Honda part # 95701-08016-08 (M8 x 16). Possibly with a 1.25 thread pitch.

The timing belt cover bolt should be Honda part # 90007-679-000.

Hey thanks so much, where did you find that? I've been looking in the factory service manual but couldn't find those
