swapped in a gsr into my 00 civic hatch about a year ago, reacently did an oil change and noticed my axle was leaking, saw that the boot was leaking and it looks like the boot rubbed through itself. Now im not incredibly low and before i swapped it i never had this issue. I am wondering what is the negitive camber causing this? and if not how can i fix it? And yes i used pepboy axles.

 

Camber doesn't cause axle issues. Shitty axles cause axle issues. The fix is easy - replace the axle.

 

Replace the axle.... Lifetime warranty is your friend.

 

well i figured that was the answer thanks guys now should i just go with actual honda or an upgraded one??

 

You can figure that one out on your own, your car.

 

Buy oem honda, upgrade if you choose to. Otherwise, if you're going to go to a parts store, make sure you get the "new" axle with lifetime warranty. Anything else will only cause you problems unless you're part of the lucky few.

 

ok thanks again guys i was shocked because the passanger side hasnt split yet and a couple guys at work said it was because oh my ride height and the cheap pepboys axles

 

Unless the car is making something near 600HP, I would get one from AutoZone or a factory Honda one. No need to go spending crazy money on such things.

 

Well thatll never happen haha but yea im already running a pepboys axle and that split so i figured it was either bad quality or due to the geometry of my suspension

 

All my previous swapped Hondas....not one broken axle.
