Default Neptune 10psi boost cut

2.3l H22 @ 9.2: comp w/ type-s cams
ID1000
Precision 3431e 57 trim
SFP manifold
Tial MVR
BKR7E @ .025"
New cap and rotor

Omnipower 3 bar map sensor
Neptune Demon in a P28

I cant for the life of me ditch this 10psi boost cut. Boost cut is turned off. AFR steady 11.8-12:1. If I roll into it and let it creep up in boost then go WOT, it will pull fine to redline. Holds solid @ 10 with no creep. If I go WOT from vacuum, it will build boost very quickly and as soon as it hits 10 it cuts out, just as if I had a 10psi boost cut. Happens both on the street and on the dyno. Haven't tried gapping the plugs tighter yet, but they shouldn't be blowing out @ 10psi.

Ideas?

I had a similar issue when my VSS was messing up. The ecu thought it was going less than 2mph so it would go into antilG mode.

I just happened to see the speedometer dip when it happened one time and figured it out. A datalog of the incident would likely show the vss dip right when the problem occurs.

Just a thought.

It maybe applying a rev limit that you do not see. In neptune, you can disable the overall limiter (rev limit, uncheck the boxes). That will remove all rev limiters (Boost cut, overall, 2 step). It sounds like your issue is else where. This will let you know if it is truly a limiter stopping you.

Please note, when you disable the limiters, you will not have OVERALL rev limiter. Please be careful.

Boost cut is not a rev limiter. Simply disable boost cut and it can no longer be the cause of the cut. More than likely you're hitting a wall due to your tune. If you've disabled ignition corrections, but didn't add anything into the map to compensate that can also be your issue. I believe we spoke in email already.

Whoever wants to review the datalog and tune file, PM or post your email. Cant upload these types of files here. It's my first "real" tune, so go easy on me...

Did some more street tuning (figuring out Neptune and it's AF trace function. very helpful!) and it made it more apparent that it's definitely the ignition cutting out and not a boost cut, as you guys already know. Gapped the plugs to .020 and it made the issue worse. Quite frustrating...

What do your plugs look like? Maybe try adding a few degrees of timing.

Note: these were pulled ~5 minutes after doing pulls. 500 miles total on them

*blush* embarrassing...

There was an output selected (not by me) for whatever reason, that was triggered by the PS pressure switch to change to secondary maps. Maps were switching back and forth all ***** nilly, making it basically untunable. What made the issue even worse was that the boost columns above 9.9psi in the secondary maps were blank on the ignition side. Didn't notice this because I never bothered checking secondary maps. Whoops! Still learning the program though, so I'll chock it up as a learning experience

Still having some ignition breakup, but that's likely a hardware issue now.

HRtuning, best customer service I have experienced. Thank you for all your help!
