Mpfi swap problems

Default Mpfi swap problems

Today i finished my mpfi swap and everything is good but the car seems to bog if i try to get on the gas. it revs to the redline no problem and everything and starts fine. could my timing be off? or my dizzy be bad?? also the car isnt throwing any codes or anything

my car did something similar.

It ended up being that the rotor in the dizzy had broken where the screw holds it to the shaft.
I'd give that a check.

Other than that, could be timing or fuel related.

i didnt time it i just put the dizzy on and tried get it as close as i thought i could

To time the dizzy you need a timing light
First loosen the dizzy bolts and aim the timing light to your crank shaft pulyl you should see three lines Knicked into the pulley adjust your timing by lining the lines up from the tdc mark on the timing cover. Then adjust the dizzy by rotating it forward or backwards to allign the marks

okay and today when i got in it the car now idles at 1k is that also from the timing

Let the car run for a while on startup it should idle a little high and then it should lower wants warmed up

The car fully warms up but still idles at 1k and sometimes it itll idle up and drop by itself ver and over again without me pressing the gas

sounds like a possible map sensor issue. i had a similar issue with my 89civic si after it sat for awhile and my grandmother put the wrong battery in it with the neg and pos switched. hmm funny car still ran for a short periond before those exact issues came up and the battery was dying over night... love the old lady but damn.

Hey could you post a picture or 3 of the plugs u used on the mpfi converson I can't remember wich plugs to use and extend and there is **** for actuell photos out there.
