Clutch pedal issue
Ok I searched and most clutch issues seem to lead to the slave/master cylinder. I don't think that's my issue.
I was traveling in some traffic and out of nowhere my clutch pedal sticks to the floor, obviously I can't move. There are no leaks around the master or slave cylinder, and there are no leaks inside around the clutch pedal. Both reservoirs are full and no leaks detected anywhere.
Clutch is a year old, so is the master and slave cylinders. With all this in mind, I don't even know where to begin, which is where hopefully some of you can come in and help...Any thoughts?

So I tried bleeding the slave and I wasn't getting anywhere. While pumping the clutch pedal it felt odd so I decided to take another look under at it and discovered clutch fluid seeping through where the clutch pedal meets the master cylinder. I suppose I am going to need to change the master cylinder and go from there.
Yep sounds like it. I just replaced my master and slave last weekend. Found a leak at the firewall on the master, and was advised to replace both at the same time as if one went the other is not far behind.
I just went through this with my Si. I bled the system to get by, but it would only last a day. I replaced the Master cylinder, there was a lot of black grease and dirt coming from the seal inside the car on the old part. The carpet was bleached underneath as well so there was no doubt in my mind that the seal had failed. It was fine then the pedal started getting weak 2 weeks later randomly. Bleeding it helped, but the problem always popped up again. I put a slave on it and haven't had an issue since. Once there's contamination in the system weather it be from lack of maintenance or a prematurely failed seal the days are numbered for both parts. If moneys tight start with the part that looks to be in the worst shape. You might luck out and get it with one part but I'd a agree with 98itr that you'll probably need both in the end. Clean the reservoir with brake clean and make sure you get all the old fluid bled out.

It was the pin that the clutch pedal pushes in on the master cylinder to engage it. The pin just took a dump. How do you drain all the brake fluid? Through the slave?
