Default Throwing CEL 7 (Throttle angle), help...

Before I throw the CEL, the car will run like CRAP. Bad idle, cuts out every time I go in to neutral, and wont run. I was able to keep it alive and went about a mile today, then it threw the CEL.

The second the CEL hits, the car runs like it just came off the showroom floor. Idles perfect, no hesitation, no cutting out... When the CEL goes, does it just cut out the sensor or what? What is the Throttle Angle anyways? Is it caused by the TPS going out, or what? What can I do to fix this?

Whelp. I went back out and checked out the TPS. It was hanging like 1/2 way off, so I put her back on. Reset the ECU, and perfect idle. Went about 4 miles, and BAM; CEL lights up my face. Check the TPS again, and it's tight. So I'm guessing the TPS is going out on me (Maybe it's from having hot oil sprayed all over it when my oil line burst underneath it spraying 3 3/4 quarts of 10w-30 all over my TPS, intake mani, MAP, and firewall...)

If you replace the TPS or move it you have to check the signal wire with a volt meter while you bolt it down. signal wire should read .500 then tighten it. If it is not set right you can geta code and lost performance.

When I had the car and the back mount was F-ed, The TPS banged the firewall and snapped in half(in Orlando might I add ). We replaced it and it worked fine. make sure its not hitting the firewall still. Didnt you fix the mounts? If not, ******* weld those bastards

ROFLHAHAHA. Yeah, it's like sliding off the damn prongs now, and I think it's going out again (Due to oil this time though ). The mounts are still gone. I'm getting j/yard ones and putting Liquid Nails for Concrete in them...I wanna see them break now...ever...
