Car run yesterday after completeing project today it doesn't. cel 6, 7, 10
Finished working on car. It runs great. we put it back in garage and next day we try to start and now i'm throwing codes and won't run properly...
Nothing changed, no wires or anything was disconnected. All sensors are correct.
Car starts up and runs for a second then drops to 0rpm and dies.
any ideas? intel. ones only please
UPDATE: now throwing codes 6, 7, 10. tps looks good besides voltage dropping when backprobed at ecu. then no matter whether its under open or close throttle it stays about 3.2
any insight?

just ran the cel. 7. only thing i can think of is the tps sensor **** the bed... b18b. it's turbod and we did a gasket job on head and exhaust mani. i cleaned the IACV days before. ran yesterday after whole project was done. came out to tune it too and now it doesn't run... idles perfect for a second then dies.

You need to calibrate a newly installed TPS. Is the TPS output voltage ~0.5V at closed throttle and ~4.5V at WOT? If so, does the output wire to the ECU have a short or open?

Use the red (+) meter probe to pierce the insulation of the Red/Blu wire going to the middle terminal of the TPS connector and then touch the black (-) meter probe to a clean metallic area on the thermostat housing.

If you reset the ECU, does CEL code 7 pop up again after running the engine? If so, check whether the proper TPS voltage is being received at the ECU connector. If so, the ECU may be bad.

Re: Car run yesterday after completeing project today it doesn't
allrighty update, the tps gets half a volt closed on the red blue wire and 4.5 wot. I checked continuity at the ecu pin d11 which on the chassis is a red / white wire. This and the red/blue at the tps had perfect continuity. When I pluged everything back in and backprobed the ecu red/white wire it had a constant 3.2v with no change when tps was opened and closed. Dur?

Re: Car run yesterday after completeing project today it doesn't
Well this is most surely the cause of code 7. Check for a short (unexpected continuity to ground) in this wire between D11 in the ECU connector and the middle terminal of the TPS connector.

Codes 6 (ECT), 7 (TPS), and 10 (IAT):
Check whether some sensor connectors were accidentally swapped.

cleaned the thermo groubnd and 2 other major grounds in engine bay... i guess i'm gonna try and find an ecu to plug in and see what happens. what a joke. ecu craps the bed after leaving case open and moving it in and out of a garage... KILL!
more insight? ha

it soundsl ike its possible for your ECU to be bad. Are you running a conversion harness? becaues there could be a break in the wires at the conversion harness. I had this problem with mine and ended up jumping the harness altogether.

Have you inspected each connector (TPS, ECT, IAT) for damage and checked whether any are swapped? List the colors of wires attached to each connector.

i think what you have to understand is all 3 of these worked when started 2 days ago after everything was complete. nothing changed. now i have all these problems. we've already inspected the connectors. those are good too. gotta head to work now. but it will be a late night under the hood when i get home. keep ya posted!

What happened, I was trying to get crome free to work, pile of ****. Either way after huffing and puffing for a few hours I found com port 7, the only port to work with freelog. The second I got this to work we started the car up and this problem started happening. I tried several maps in several versions of crome, including the exact map the car ran on the day before, then ran the car in limp mode where it did the same thing except much shittier with 450cc injectors installed. So literally the only thing that was touched was the ecu to move it out from under my feet once. So it slid on the floor of the car about 5 inches. I'm pretty sure honda ecus are stouter than this.

chrome is pretty ****. But honestly if you put the same map back then wtf.
