I'm about to buy some tokico blues that were on an Ek to put on my eg.Will they fit or do I have to do any modification?Im sure they should fit just wanna double check.Also I was gonna buy the whole Ek rear lca's with drilled and slotted rotors with disk brakes and comes with a camber kit.Will these also fit on my eg.Any help would be appreciated...thanks

 

You will need to shave your rear LCA bushing by about 3/8" or so. Take 3/16" off each side. This is so the "EK" rear shock fork will slide over your 92-95 civic arms. It's APPROXIMITELY 3/8". Whatever it is....make sure you take an even amount of material off either side.

No, 96-00 control arms will not work on a 92-95. They're too long.

 

Yes they'll fit. They're the same shock actually. When you buy them new Tokico includes spacers for use on EKs, when you use them on an EG you don't use the spacers.

 

Good call. Tokico doesn't sell specifically 96-00 shocks?

 

This is correct. Fronts identical. Rears need the little spacers which are supplied when new.

Correct. Unfortunately, also, Tokico USA has .... kinda disappeared from the face of the Earth. No more USA website, FB page is a ghost town. You seem to be able to still buy them, though. Just don't expect much service or response from the company anymore.
