Cutting Skunk2 Springs
I have a 94 EJ1 lowered on Skunk2 lowering springs and just out new struts in the back and have a 2 finger wheel gap. I want to cut the springs just to get rid of the gap and was wondering how much to cut just to get it flush and do I cut it from the top of the spring or bottom?
No. Just...no.You have two options. Either buy a proper suspension that doesn't suck, or buy adjustable perches. Cutting springs is stupid, dangerous, and imprecise, and you'll only end up with a crooked car with even worse ride quality than you already do.

This right there makes this HIGHLY unrecommended.
We want to condone safe acts here at H-T. This can go as far as making your ride unsafe too if the circumstances are right.
You need to buy new springs and possibly dampers made for the outcome you are after.

Everyone wants performance and mods and tries to cut corners to either save money or people dont have the $$ to do it right.
Do it right the 1st time and you wont have to do it all over again.
Sell the uncut springs and find a pair to get your look you want. Simple as that.
