trying to decide, Skunk2 coilover sleeves or Pro-Kit springs?
Right now I have Tokico Illuminas with Eibach Pro-Kit springs on my DB (4dr Integra) but I'd want it to be a little lower and I have a chance to buy some used Skunk2 coilovers sleeves. Do you guys suggest keeping the springs or getting the coilover sleeves? The thing is that I'm not sure if the shocks can handle the Skunk2's because I got them used with unknown milage and with the springs on 4-front and 5-rear settings it seems almost like the car is bouncing around vs. soaking in the bumps. Let me know what you think, thanks.

I personally do not like how the drop on the pro-kit looks on Integras because of the equal drop. So taking everything you have said into consideration I think you should just buy a new complete coilover kit. This would give you new struts, a ride heigth of whatever you damn well please, and a set up thats built to work in harmony with one another. Just my .2 cents

I actually like an equal drop, I didn't like it at first as much because it was kinda high and the rear seemed a little lower than the front, especially the driver-side rear, but it's settled down a little lower and looks more even now (the rear might still be a bit lower but not much if at all, because it's 4dr, not coupe). I just wouldn't mind if it was a little lower, and a stiffer with less body roll, but I'm worried the shocks won't handle it.
*edit - I also don't have money for full coilovers so that's not an option

How money do you have to spend? If you drop any significant amount, then you will need new drop struts anyways. Might as well save up a little more, and get some stuff that will work together. I personally have Tein's and I love them. YOu might not wanna shell out 900 bucks though like I did. My buddy has Skunk 2's over Koni Yelows and he loves them too.

I'm keeping my current Tokico Illumina's for sure, and it's a choice between my current Pro-Kit springs or a set of Skunk2 coilovers sleeves I might buy. I want a little lower and stiffer ride but my question is if the Illuminas will handle the Skunk2's or not. Getting a full coilover is not my question here. I have other areas of the car to put money into right now besides a brand new set of full coilovers that will never be used to their full potential on the street anyway, ever.

Well I guess nobody has ever tried both? Anybody have experience with just skunk2 sleeves on Illuminas? I just wanna see what other people have to say, but I think I'm going to try out a set myself that my friend is taking off his car and see how it rides, and buy them from him if I like it.
