Default Coilover sleevs or lowering springs ???

I have lowering springs on my Civic and wanted to know if it's a good idea to buy skunk2 coilover sleevs ?

My car does not bounce. My car rides well. Just want to have the option of lowering it when ever I want to.

Worth it or not ??? Also if I do buy it will my car be bouncy???

ohh dope !! i have a 94 Teal'' Green EJ1. I'm thinking about getting them, but I'm still not sure. I just don't want to be disapointed with the ride quality. Any more info on stiffness or ride quality ??? PLZ

they are pretty stiff ride qaulity isnt bad just try to avoid choppy pavement if you want idea of how low my car sits look at my build thread. it rode great at 2in drop but i wanted to dump it haha

the only reason i bought mine is because they were real cheap and a good brand IMO

No. I have skunk2 coilover sleeves. My front is tucking and my back is about a finger gap. Shittiest ride in the world, I'm embarrassed to have people in my car. This was on stock 2000 HX shocks, then I switched to Tokico Illuminas and I didn't even notice a difference.

Just got my Tein S-tech springs delivered.

Now, if you ARE specifically looking for a HIGH quality coilover for track, etc, then these are great to have..

I have S.Techs, as well. They are really nice springs for a daily driven car.

Not as low as they state, probably like a 1.5" drop.

If you want to slam it and don't mind a rough ride then go ahead. Otherwise keep the springs.

I've got Tokico HPs (Blues) with Ground Control coilovers, absolutely love 'em. Althought it was a B**** getting them all the same, letting them seat and adjust again, now all it takes is an allen wrench and a little force, no spanner just hands, and I have have whatever height I want. I'd say go for the coils but you might as well do the shocks while you are at it and depending on how low you want, consider a camber kit as well. Best of luck.

Omg, I just installed Skunk2s coilovers but with ebay sleeves in the back(running on budget off used set of Skunk2s) with stock shocks, I rather not have them on as the streets down here are killer. It's like sitting in a lowrider.... So if you are going Skunk2s, be sure to get shocks when you install them. Performancewise is :D, but ride comfort is :'[.
