Default rod knock / spun bearing or paranoia?

So got to listening and my engine sounded funny, so did some investigating and it sounds like a bottom end knock.

Or I could be insane.

If it is the case I've sourced a d15b for $200 locally.. .just will need to find someone to put it in.

Still haven't solved my idle issue either.

That's not a happy, nor a healthy motor.

Do a compression test, and an oil change. Inspect the old oil for any metal flakes. If you spun a bearing, there will be metal flakes.

Oil change done. No metal.

Compression test scheduled.
