Default helicoiling an entire engine

Not really but I fucked up like 4 holes. Is this gonna be fun or am I already sick enough of aluminum engines?

It depends on how bad, kind of pointless asking here because this is one of those things where you will have to make that judgement call.

I stripped my engine in a few spots. Lower driverside front engine mount has 1 stripped hole, and I know the other one is gonna be stripped, some idiot put so much locktight in it that I couldn't get the bolt back in without a 3/4 air gun.

I also striped the head with an exhaust stud, my manifold came out surprisingly easily, but I wasn't paying attention and over tightened a stud putting it back on.

I think one of the upper driverside mount bolts got stripped too, this is the one I'm most worried about cuz if that bolt vibrates out somehow gonna jam my timing belt.

I think there's another one but I dont remember.

**** torque wrenches.

Why?

Probably wouldn't be such a mess if one had been used.

I just love making more work for myself and having to buy new tools instead of using the ones I already have.

naw I just didn't think the ****** engine block would strip so easily, like, I knew the valve cover bolts would but I didnt feel like pulling out a torque wrench and checking the specs for those either so I csnt even drive my car right now.

I guess I'm just lazy?

I............don't see how putting locktite on a bolt could keep you from putting a bolt in. Its liquid that doesn't completely solidify. If it did than you wouldn't be able to get that bolt off.

when I put it in the bolt kept getting jammed up with grey thread locker, i tried blowing the hole out, hitting it with my pipe cleaner thing, but every time i took the bolt out to look at it there was a grey silicone crap in the threads.

I got bored of using the half inch gun so I grabbed the 3/4 gun and that got it in

I kno but I'm learning with a shitty civic engine so there's no harm done.
