I can honestly believe that this would happen to me.
So I am doing my timing belt. Being ever so careful, because I have plenty of time to do it. Well I get to the point where I need to take off my motor mount. I support the engine with a jack, break loose the bolts on the engine side of the connecting bracket, then attempt to break loose the frame side, now mind you this was going to happen anyway. The people before me either tightened them to tight or broke them and did not bother to tell anyone. Well below are the end result, stopping this project dead in its tracks. I am not sure what to do, I need a new mount as one of the tabs broke off. The piece that broke off the car I am hoping can be carefully welded back into place. The shot of the bolt hole is because the threads in that hole are screwed, there was not even a bolt in there when I started doing this? Something happened before I got the car, and I now I get to deal with it. Anyone have ANY suggestions?

Re: (.Ry)
I did not do it on purpose! I am not sure how it happened to tell you the truth. I can say this though, I am doing a DIY on this project and I looked back at some of the pictures I took before this and I can see like stress marks, little brown lines. I never would have payed attention to this before, and would not have expected it to happen. I am taking a break from the car today, as I don't have the ability to go any further. I need to know this. I plan on getting a new mount here soon. Is it possible for me to finish putting the timing belt on, put it all back together, then using the one usable bolt hole, reinstall the mount and carefully drive it to a shop? I have no welder, and this is not something I want to mess with being such a critical piece! If not I can have the ****** towed to the shop. You ever feel like your car really ******* hates you? I enjoy working on my car but damn. Oh well LIVE AND LEARN.
