Default how much should I pay for this swap?

staright b20 into a ej coupe, with GSR tranny.

I was gonna do it with my friend but I just found out that he doesn't know half as much as I thought he did.

I haven't gotten any quotes yet, but I'm planning on calling around tomorrow and wanted to find out what I should expect pricewise.

I'm planning on either goin to inline four or holeshot since I hear they are pretty reputable shops in my area.

Thanks guys.

Prolly around $500-600 for labor

They wanted $700 for a gsr into an EK back when I was looking to do my swap.

I say you buy tools with the cash you're gonna spend and do it yourself.
Either that, or find someone on this board that will do it cheaper.

this is just a daily driver and I want something with torque...

might even think of adding a JR supercharger in the future, but most likely won't.

b16s are great and all but I don't feel like driving around at 5500+ rpms to keep my heavy *** coupe moving quickly.

I would go b18c but I don't want to spend that much money. It's only a daily driver, stoplight to stoplight, sitting in traffic. Its not going to be a racecar, ever.....well I probably should say that.
