Default 500 hp HELP!!!

I need some help finding the best stuff for my motor. My goal is to get to 500hp out of my d series this year and hopefully into the 11's. What are the best rods, pistons, rings, heads, i want everything top of the line.

My motor build so far.
I have 8:1 compression right now, pretty much stock head. d16a6 block and head. I have a jackson racing supercharger.(3in pulley) 450cc fuel injectors. turbo cam. had it on a dyno back in november and after the new tune i got 221whp. on 9psi.

Im not sure how much more hp my motor can safely take. id like to go with a smaller pulley and about 15psi. Get a better tune, and im also thinking about installing a nos system. I want to build something to be around 400hp but also have a 100 shot of nos so it needs to handle 500hp.

PS: THIS IS NOT A DAILY DRIVER. so if something does break its not the end of the world.

Thanks for your help.

Go to the forced induction area. I don't think that compressor can make anywhere near 400 whp either. No matter how small of a pulley you put on. NOS and FI is tricky, better research.

There is no 'best' rod/pisont/head. Start researching for forged internals obviously. Also, 500 whp out of a D-series is pushing it. You don't see those everyday. Or ever actually. It's rare and a lot of work.

Good luck.

Thanks. And i know it is a lot but ive seen it done before and i know i can get close to that. My entire paycheck will be going into this for the next year to get it as far as possible. I just need to find the right stuff for this motor to handle that much hp.

My advice ditched the supercharger use the money from selling it to get you a nice TURBO charger. You're losing power to make power with that thing.

Seems like stock D series sleeves work for some people.

Yeah go turbo, my buddy went 10.5 in his EF on a stock sleeve Vitara build and Precison 6262, at 6000 ft elevation, with E85.

I think the D series tran becomes the weak point when you make that much power. That's what I've heard. That's a big turbo though. Definitely meant to go in a straight line.
