Default Prepping car for move

My Daughter is graduating from collage in May and will be moving from Fl to Huston Texas for 2 years. It is are 95 Accord Ex 2.2 w/ 134k. We bought it 14 months ago, other than routine Maintenance, air filter, plugs, oil changes and Drain & fills of the ATF and a new Radiator the car has been perfect. Now i don't have any service history previous to me buying it but from what i can see the car was serviced at a Honda Dealer it had a genuine Honda Oil filter on it, a Honda Air filter, the plug wires were replaced w/ genuine Honda wires circa 2008. Now i plan to Change the Timing Belt/Water Pump,Coolant, Cap, Rotor,Plugs, Air Filter, Belts,Hoses,Front & Rear Brake Pads,Brake Hydraulic Hoses & Brake Fluid. Clean Throttle Body, EGR Valve & passages. It has brand new tires just put on 3 months ago. Is there anything I have forgot that should be replaced as to make the car as reliable as possible?

Thank You.
Joe

Replace the Sears DieHard Battery, Oh and forgot about the T-Stat replacement.

your plan is pretty comprehensive. the EGR valves probably could use some preventative cleaning, and inspect all the coolant hoses for dryness or cracking. inspect the suspension for creaks also. ericthecarguy has an excellent youtube channel which instructs you on how to diagnose all of these issues.

With 100K miles on the clock, I would look into replacing the front wheel bearings, and the lower ball joints. This will maintain nice even tire wear on the front and reduce any chances your daughter may get hosed with a stupid price for a replacement if they start howling while she's away. Axles are easy enough to change, but I would do that while you have the front end apart.

I never thought about those. Thanks Mike
