Default EG JDM trailing arm swap to EK3 JDM (rear disc)

Hey, I know this has been discussed but I'm having other comments. I have drums on my EK3 and I have an EG body (crashed). Can I swap the entire trailing arm to have rear disc brakes for my EK? I'm being told that I need to change the trailer arm bushing. Someone even told me it wouldn't line up perfect and my back will sag. Is this true? Would it be a straight forward swap? Thanks!

All civics 88-00 and 90-01 integras use the same rear trailing arm. You will need to keep your EK lower control arms. EG LCA's are too short and will not work. I don't think the trailing arm bushings are any different? When you do the swap that would be an ideal time to change the RTA bushings if they have any sign of wear.

You'll need to get the parking brake cable and the brake lines, they are different on discs vs drums

Hey guys, the callipers on the EG are leaking so before putting them on I'll have to buy the seals. Would it be the piston seal causing the leak? I'm not even sure of the year on this EG. Thanks

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Dorman-D352027-Disc-Brake-Caliper-Repair-Kit-Rear-/400652254611?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&fits=Model%3ACivic&hash=item5d48bc3d93&vxp=mtr
Would this be it? Guessing they fit all civics.

Yes that's usually where they leak from. That should be the correct kit, although I am unsure if there are any differences between civic rear caliper sizes.

Some more helpful info here when you rebuild em
