Icon2 95 Civic/B18B - B series auto-to-manual tranny swap

I've been looking all over for info and I can't find any specific to my situation. I have a 95 civic hatchback with a b18b swap with with an automatic transmission. The tranny is shot (only get 2nd and 4th gears, and no reverse) plus it shouldn't be an automatic anyway, so I was gonna do a swap. I'm about to buy a JDM Gsr manual trans with Lsd. Everything I've found said that should be ok, but I'm just making sure. What kind of problems will I face? The tranny in it now is cable and this new one is hydraulic. Also I know I'll need other parts like shifter, clutch, peddle, ect. So what parts need to come from a civic and which parts need to come from an integra? What other parts do I need? Would I need a knew starter as well? Is there any guide to putting a gsr LSD trans into a 95 civic with a b18b motor that is already automatic?

Woah one question at a time. The trans will bolt up. You will need a new tranny mount. You will be fine with the hydro trans, that's what should be in a 95. Also your gonna need a clutch and flywheel kit. Since the car is auto, get an auto to manual trans mount from hasport. All the parts needed to do a auto to manual swap are in the FAQs that you need to read.

I'm dead tired so I'll touch up more in detail tomorrow. Hitting the sheets.

Okay great info and lots of great stuff to read. This is my first project and I'm learning a lot. Another question I have is that the car (95 civic) was originally a manual. Now don't ask my why they would put an automatic in it but I want that out. Since the car was originally a manual would I still need all the conversion mounts?

It depends on what they did with the bracket welded to the passenger's side frame rail. If you can get a picture of it I'll let you know.
