I have stripped down my rear trailing arms as I will be sandblasting, painting and putting in new bushings (along with rest of car). I came across this rubber shield type thing that is held in with a bolt (which has like a rectangular head) and nut. On both sides the bolt snapped and upon inspection the rubber is in bad shape also. I am looking to replace it but I have no idea what it is called and what it is for. Any ideas?

I wouldn't bother replacing it. I removed mine, and never put them back on. Unless you drive down a lot of gravel, and have rocks getting chucked up there, I wouldn't worry about it

Thank you for reply. Do you know what it is supposed to be protecting? I feel like Honda wouldn't spend the time and money manufacturing the part unless it was needed...

I'd assume the angle it's at, what it is covering, it would be protecting the joint in which your LCA and your RTA come together.
