Wow really you must not have looked very hard. B18A swap is the same as B18B swap.

Um sorta but not. The B18A1 came in OBD0 and OBD1 varieties. What year is your B18A? BTW don't use the cable tranny it'll never work right, I know you're trying to be cheap but it's not worth it in that case. Find a 94-01 hydro LS trans.

Yeah and the B18B1 cam in OBD2A and OBD2B so what?? You will run it OBD1 regardless. Best way to got is a OBD1. Get the motor with the trans, axles, ECU and harness at the minimum if you can. The ECU and the harness are the most important. Since you have a 95 Civic you can unplug the engine harness at the right side shock tower then pull the D series out harness and all. Then all you need to do is get the 99-00 Si mount brackets that you will need, drop and bolt the motor in and simply plug in the B18 harness at the shock tower...done.
In short B18A1 motor and trans (hydro not cable) if you can find a 94-01 GSR trans or a 99-00 Si trans.
OBD1 Ls ECU and harness
Turn key and drive, pretty sure there is no repining needed at the ECU plug on this swap but please correct me if I am wrong.

Um yeah he obviously isn't going to ditch the cable trans so I'll doubt he will ditch the motor

The 91 B18A is OBD0 so he can't use the injectors, distributor, ECU, 02 sensor, or wiring harness. You can reuse your ex injectors which is fine. You'll need 92-95 LS ECU and distributor. You can reuse your wiring harness. The B18A doesn't have a TB mounted MAP do you can use your ex TB or use a OBD1/2 bseries TB. The fan switch is on the back of the block so you'll have to run the wiring to back there instead of the thermostat housing of the ex engine. He has an EG so 99-00 mounts won't work you'll want 94up Integra metal mounts and reuse your civic rubber portions.

You still need the 99-00 Si rear mount bracket since the D series is different and so is the Teg and you will need the 99-00 Si upper left mount bracket the one by the timing belt since the one on the B18 will not line up correctly with the Civic chassis or the Civic mount.
If this is a OBD0 motor you are doing tons of unneeded work to make it work. Get a OBD1 motor and start there, sell the OBD0 motor.
