Do it right, replace the bearing and do the studs at the same time.

Ok I see the oem ones are like 100 each.

What one do you guys use oem or the koyo ones there's like. 50$ difference

 

OEM ! when I did mine but I'm **** about what I put on my car lol and like ordering OEM only. koyo made the oem ones tho afaik so it's one of those "it may not matter things".

to everyone shooting down my link, I had just replaced my knuckle with one from the dealer(waste of $ lol) and I cross threaded my cheap ricer lug nut so I wasn't about to do new bearings too that's all. But I see nothing wrong with doing them while you're at it.

Also, it is possible to remove the hub and change the studs with out having to change the wheel bearings; I've done it before and it just comes down to luck. The problem you run into (and the reason most everyone says you must change the wheel bearing if you press the hub out of it) when re-using the old bearings is that 90% of the time the ball bearing carriers/cages get damaged when you remove the hub from the bearing and or when you press the hub back in. It's almost never something visible to the naked eye. To avoid a future headache it's best practice to just do the wheel bearings with the studs.
