Default Autozone / Duralast KNock Sensor

I need a replacement knock sensor, has anyone used the Autozone / Duralast Knock sensors ? Input ? Any good ? Recommended or not ?

OBD1 B16a, JDM p30

Currently have an Omni Knock Sensor, went through the Helms and I am at the point where it says to replace the knock.

we use a lot of duralast sensors in our shop but basically for Domestic cars i.e. GM, FORD. And they work great in domestics in the few we've used in imports works fine but with a little more you can buy the OEM one, The only advantage is they have warranty always not be valuecraft.

But nothing beat OEM quality.

I put one in about 12,000 miles ago and so far no issues.

On OBD1 you don't need a knock sensor. It can be tuned out of the ECU

What have you tried so far to come to the conclusion that the knock sensor is bad?

Yeah I know I have a chip from a popular chip maker on HT and it doesn't run as good as the JDM P30, but it does eliminate the CEL

I am at the part of the troubleshooting that says to replace with a known good knock sensor

Just wanted to update.

Replaced the knock sensor with one from Advanced Auto Parts, found a 40 off 100 coupon.

No CEL since Thursday, it was coming on before within 10 minutes of driving

On the Omni Knock sensor that I replaced the plastic part that the harness plugs into was loose and moving in the metal part of the sensor.

Knock sensors aren't that big of a deal.
I've been surprised at getting OEM stuff out of parts store boxes before too. Usually with CarQuest stuff though.
