zex compatibility ?'s
I was just wondering if most zex kits are universal or model specific,
Basically, will a honda kit work correctly for a Toyota celica.
Ive done some searching on the zex website and it seems that they are model specific but other places tell me that they are universal.
The kit is not for my hatchie but for a buddies celica. I just dont want him to waste his money on the wrong kit.
I just dont know a whole lot about the compatiblity of the kits.

They work on any fuel injected motor I believe. The brain in the purple box measers the voltage you'r car puts out, When its at full throttle it spray's the nitrous if it's not at that voltage no nitrous. Basically it will work on just about any late model ride. Here's there # if you want to ask them about a specific model 1-888-817-1008. Hope this helps.
There are two generation Zex kits. One only works with 4 volts or higher tps at wide open throttle, the other is adjustable so it learns the tps in your car at wide open throttle. There should be a red button on the box indicating that it can learn.

mostly depends on the fuel system...........
The second generation ZEX boxes came out to fit other makes, Honda TPS voltage was fine.
I'd suggest asking via email at zextech@zex.com
Joey or Matt should be able to overload you on info.
