VTECH is an electronics maker; making such items as cordless phones and a toys for kids.

Just an FYI ...

B series swaps can still be bought for reasonable prices, and some are still in usable condition.

B20 swaps can be had for cheap. And give great power, and plenty of torque which is very nice for a DD.

As far as power for dollar goes, I like H2B setups.

How cheap are you wanting?

B20b-$500 for base, $650 with pr8 head and $700 for the high compression. Pr8 head is the best flowing non vtec head. Check out hmotorsonline.com. get your self a ls transmission so you can cruise on the freeways without spinning the motor so high. Then later down the road, add a turbo or some kind of "power adder" of your choice. You could also do a b20vtec build. Throw a b16, gsr itr ect... head on a b20. They make awesome power.

Best for the least is an expression inappropriate for the NA forum IMO.

Set a power goal and budget and we can give you some suggestions.

Accord k24 and a cheap LSD IMO.

Or simply turbo d and phantom grip.

Its not as cheap as everyone thinks
