ive never not did a one peice charge pipe. just gotta fish it in there. i did have to open up the air filter/intake hole on the passenger side just a bit, mainly to get the vanjen flange to clear. Plenty if clearance though and never had any issues with rubbing/scratching. This was with solid motor mounts obviously.

I've always done one piece hot side and two piece cold side. Could fish it but wasnt worth dinging it, scratching it and creating the difficulty of engine bay access.
