D15B2 12mm and 14mm Crank Pulley Bolt
I'm looking to maybe buy a used motor and I keep getting asked what diameter the thread is on the crank pulley bolt. Any idea if this makes a difference? I think mine has a 14mm thread diameter but not sure and some of the motors out there are 12mm thread diameter.

I'm sorry for not specifying. The socket size to remove the bolt is a 17mm. The question is about the thread diameter. Apparently there are two versions.
M12 and M14 is what you meant, the metric size for the threads. I am not sure. Try and take the crank bolt to the parts store and check it out or look at a for sale listing online.
you're talking about the .944 & .865. I'm having the same problem. Did you find out? I have a 91 civic dx and I'm still searching which crankshaft goes this d15b2 engine .944 or .865
It was so long ago that I don't really remember.
I ended up buying a jdm engine which fit and worked well. Just a slight misfire at idle sometimes I couldn't figure out.
Someone over heated it and I gave up on the car mainly because of ac.
