I need some help guys. I need to know what size thread the crankshaft pulley bolt is on a 98' gsr. I'm assuming that because the head is 19mm that the thread is around 12mm x 1mm but i need to know before removing this bolt. The Honda and Acura dealers were no help what so ever.

It's either M14x1.25x31mm or M14x1.5x31mm. It's more than likely 1.5mm thread pitch tho.

The crank pulley bolt is 14MM-1.25. I had to buy a tap to clean out the threads of my crank.

Look at number 18 in the parts list (14x31)... what does that mean?

Thanks for asking the question, and to the responders as well.

I hope to use the method this video to re-install the crankshaft oil seal.
If one knows the dimensions for the camshaft pulley bolts it would be appreciated as well; it's 8 x 22 according to this link.

Are you replacing the bolt? ARP sells a replacement bolt..

If you take the bolt to a hardware store like Marshall's Industrial Hardware they can measure it with a tool and tell you the thread pitch.
