Default Superceded defect. diff. bearing 98-02

Would this part:

91122-P6H-013 BEARING, SPECIAL TAPER (40X76.2X16)

Be considered the updated part for:

91122-P6H-003

which was defective? Is there an aftermarket replacement that is better? What part would a rebuilt trans by Honda (or other) have in it?

My car is 2000 Accord SE auto. CG5 series, F23A1, MAXA

Also why can I not find the replacement internal filter/strainer assembly on HondaPartsNow?

Could be several reasons for the change. Slight difference in material type, hardness, geometry, etc
Looks like a few website have this mentioned...
