Default Timing Issue

Put a y8 head on my y7. I couldnt get the ignition timing right after the crank and cam were set to TDC. After doing some more research i realized that the y8 head has a z6 cam sprocket. I dont know if its a z6 cam or just a y8 cam with z6 sprocket, But i realized that this is why I cant get it in timing because the roughly 4.5 degree difference between the sprockets. I do know that the y7 and y8s use the same cam sprocket. So if I put my y7 sprocket on the cam would this fix my problem?

Default Re: Timing Issue

Add y7 cam gear, reset timing. Check to see if it is correct, thats prety much the only way to know for sure.
