Default do b20/ls nonvtecs usually run higher egts?

Ive noticed now that both of the b20 motors ive had seem to run cruising egts a good amount higher than the vtec motors.

Im seeing 700-720c for the nons and would see 650ish for the vtec. This is with a gsr5th gear for all motors. Ive tried adding a few more degrees timing it helped a bit as well a bringing afr into the mid14's down from about 15:1.
