b20 vtec

so someone said there are b20 vtecs that run around this area and said the ls-vtecs put them to shame, im just wondering are ls vtecs amazingly better or something? assuming they arent built either

or the motor wasnt done right?!
i had a few friends with B20 vtecs in EGs and they are pretty beasty
