B20/VTEC VS LS/VTEC
iight honda-tech me and a couple of my boys were having a debate...im planning on going B20/VTEC and they are planning to go LS/VTEC...so we kept goin back and forward on which is better and which would win...etc...i think B20/VTEC they say LS/VTEC...can yall please leave me yall comments, thoughts, etc on what yall think...thanx honda-tech for your time

well, honestly I believe it is going to be close (depending on the drivers), but the b20 will make more torque.

Im personally I LS Vtec kind of guy but to be honest a N/A B20 Vtec will probably win against a LS Vtec. However LS/Vtec are mostly used for boost and thats a completely different story now. In that case the B20 Vtec will get destroyed imo.

Your best option is to see how much you have to play with.
The ls and b20 are exactly the same minus the bore ( 81mm vs 84mm ).
The advantage of the 81mm is you can use any oem honda piston in the setup, So say your block is in good condition and you are staying 81mm and have a set of b16 p30 pistons kicking around you can use them and save some $$ instead of buying 84mm pistons ( RS - ycp or big name , will cost in ball park of $ 250-$350 for the cheaper end just for pistons ).
If you have the extra $$ go B20, the extra .2 of displacement will not hurt.
