i was driving my JDM DC2 SiR-G b18c with typeR S80 LSD gearbox and i missed 2nd gear. and for a few days the gears felt a lil sticky like somthing was bent. but still shifted into gear ok. then one day i was driving home and i went to go into 4th gear and it went in like butter no friction at all, then i i downshifted to 2nd to take corner and there was no gears and the shifter went all loose with no gear pattern. it didnt make any noise at all. i looked and its not the shift linkage under the shifter or the bushings. and the clutch still works i can hear it engage when its running. but i wanna know what broke?. what could it be?

Most likely the sh*tty stock Honda shift selector in the trans broke.

The shift selector or "shift piece" inside the transaxle is broken or severely damaged. Being forceful on the shifter will break that piece.

 

Yep. It's broken or bent.
