Default HELP ! ! ! Clutch and Gear GRINDING ? ? ?

I am noob to honda-tech someone please help. I have a B16A jdm motor with GSR hydraulic clutched tranny. when i shift gears below the 3k RPM everything seems fine. When I drive pass 3K rpm and lets say i shift a 4K or 4.5K RPM the 3rd and 4th gear would scratch a little bit before going into the gears. What could possibly be wrong? I tried bleeding the clutch out and still same bs. Also tried adding gear oil and shows no result. anyone here can help ? the problem is getting more and more annoiying and i beleive it can only get worst.

did you make sure all the bolts on the shift linkage arms trailing from the tranny to the shifter underneath the car are properly torqued? When I installed my short shifter I didn't properly tighten the linkage that hooks up directly to the shifter itself and the shifting felt loose and would grind sometimes. I would tighten everything up down there before you take more extreme measures.

i will try to tighten the shifter under the car, hopes this helps as i do have a short shifter installed. any chance it could be a worn clutch? the shifting is done smoothly when the motor is cold but when up to running temp it acts up. only God knows but the last thing i would want to do is replace the tranny as for GSR trannys are hot around here. thanks dude for your post.

If still grinding and you don't have any $. Buy some GM Syncro Mesh. Will help you out until you get back on your feet to fix whatever to problem is.

thanks alot for the .02 cents I just purchase an Exedy clutch kit and will install end of this week. Hopfully its the root of my problem but if not then i will add syncro mesh and sell the car LOL. just wondering: if it was the syncro wouldnt it scratch on every gear and not just 3rd and 4th? when the car is cold it doesnt scratch at all, but after warmed up it starts to scratch. thats why im replacing my clutch. anyways thanks guys.
