Default need help fast...going to install turbo in 4 days

i need some help with a bosch inline fuel pump.

1. which side of the bosch fuel pump is inlet and which side is outlet? one side had a green cap covering the hose fitting. the other side had a brass treaded hose fitting and the electrical connectors are also located here.

2. on the side that got the brass threaded hose fitting, there are couple of small holes around that fitting underneath the threaded area, do i have to insert a hose all the way until it covers those small holes?

3. is it true that when using a bosch inline pump, it is better to get rid of the stock intank for greater efficiency? i'm going to use vortech fmu for my fuel and i know that i need an inline pump but now i'm confused after hearing that i should get rid of the stock pump.

please help i really need to get the parts so i could begin the install.
