01 Accord botch front brake job.
I just swap out my buddy's front rotors and pads. Did the routine procedures, no broken parts or issues. Today he calls me, he hears a laud nose and scratching metal noise.
Did I miss something here? Help help.

Well according to the information you have posted, it seems as though you did the brake job correctly and nothing was broken. So I'm not sure what there is that you could have missed?
You will have to take a look at the car and see if there is something wrong with the newly installed brakes.

Im thinking the dust cover may or can be rubbing against the rotor on the back side. Can the pads get stuck open or shut on the track? I did pump the brakes till they got pressure build up.
Well, did you spray the rotors with brake cleaner and give them a good wipe down first? You can also inspect the "clips" that keep the pads tight and in place, sometimes they can become bent or damaged and rub like that. Also check for proper lubrication on the slide pins.
I double check everything in my mind all day, turns out the passenger dust cover was rubbing and clear both sides a bit back.
Thanks folks
