After driving for 30 minutes and shutting the engine off, my car failed to restart for some reason. I was restarting the engine within 1 minute of shutting it off. No lights were on. No sound of engine turning, actually no sound at all when I turn the key. Only lights that came on the dashboard were the warning lights for the open car doors.

I thought car batteries recharge during driving? if that is the case, my car battery should have been somewhat charged during driving unless my car battery is no longer able to hold any charge.

Is this usual of the battery dying? It seem so sudden without any warning right after driving.

Fact that i do not remember when i changed my battery last time might be key.
