So just got my car fixed today, and it started doing a brake squeel when i just drive regular, not using the brakes. Sometimes it will just go away, but thats not the case tonight.

I looked at the pads and it seems there is plenty left, any other clues?

Inspection tomarrow morning, but still clueless on what to look for.

rotor could be warped.. also are the shims in place? did you get good pads? or are they the 12.95 ones?

They are just the pads that came with the car, i havent replaced them yet. Ill check the rotor.

Where are the shims located?

under the pads. thats waht the kinda snap into..they are metal. there is also sometimes one behind the pad between teh pad the and caliper piston
