ok, so i'm planning on adding 2 an10 bungs and lines on vc (b16) for additional ventilation. i currently have the back of block set up but lately the filter has been cover in oil.
i've drained the can, but not much oil in it, just unburned gas...about 2 cup.

i've have been looking at some ss braided line for an10 fitting. some are listed as .56" id (.79" od) and some are 5/8"(.62") id and 7/8" (.81" od).

i know that an10 is approx. to 5/8. i have 2 questions.

1) which line should i get?

2) will i need another catch ( 2 port w/ 3" filter) ? or can i just tee if off the other one?

AN is outside diameter so the ID can vary with different hose type.

1.) Bigger ID is always better in this application.
2.) Technically no. You could T it into the others but that may not be ideal in terms of flow.
However I would argue if you even needed the additional hoses from the VC. If you dont have any or very little oil in your catch can now then you have adequate crankcase ventilation.

 

If your venting from the back ports of the block the reason you have no oil in the can is because its draining back.

I would order all the hoses from b n r fittings. The prices are competitive and you will be happy with the quality.

I just got my hose kit for my fuel line I had to redo because I went with another company and the quality was crap

The type of fuel you run has a huge role in how you want to vent it and wether or not you want a drain back.

 

how's the fitment with the 10an fitting?

that's what i'm thinking too. however, i didn't run a hose/line on the catch can's drain port on the bottom. i just attached a hose to it, so i could drained it whenever.

 

so, .56" or .62" id hose should be fine/fit an10 fitting.

the filter is just wet, no oil seeping/running out yet. you think it's ok the way it is.
