Default Comp Clutch stg2 8022-2100

Anyone have any reviews on this clutch? mainly looking for good drivability around town and wondering how much power it will be able to hold. the exedy stg1 slips pretty bad, making ~350whp.

sub 350 i'd go for a CC stage 3 it's a segmented full face clutch. will be getting one for my track car(time attack).

Horsepower isn't what makes clutches slip, torque is.

That said, I have the 1620 on my car. Love it, and have no problems with it, even in city driving. The Exedy Stage 1 advertises 40% increased torque load, the 2100 advertises 80% increased load, and the 1620 advertises 250% increased load.

Figure out how much torque you're making. I'm assuming you have a B series motor. The B16A2 makes ~110 ft/lbs stock, so the Exedy should handle ~150 ft/lbs, the 2100 should handle 190, and the 1620 should handle 370 ft/lbs. The B18C1 makes 130 ft/lbs, so 180 ft/lbs on the Exedy, 230 ft/lbs on the 2100, or 440 ft/lbs on the 1620.

Figure out your motor's baseline, figure out how much torque you make, and use that information to figure out what clutch will hold the power you're making.
