How much power and torque can the 2MD hold??

 

md...i think its 250 ft lbs of torque or 350 ft lbs of torque..
md.. i think its 350..but i forget ..at least youve got an idea.

The 2KS will hold 250 ft-lb (segmented kevlar disk)
The 2MD will hold 350 ft-lb (six puck metallic disk)

The KS is easier to engage, but not as strong. I'm running a 1MD on my setup (turbo D16A1/ZC).

Anyone using the 2MD in a high hp car? Im trying to figure out what clutch to go with, either CM stage 4 or maybe the Action. Ive installed many of the action clutches for our customers, but not too many of the guys are running as much hp as me.

 

if KS is weaker than MD how come its more expensive?

 

The KS is segmented kevlar. I think it's just a more expensive material to buy.

Dan: You should ask Rocket about the Action clutch for high hp. I think clutches are rated to hold toruqe, not necessarily hp. If you're make 500 whp and 300 wtq, the 2MD should hold it. If the 2MD won't hold it, they have some monster iron setup that's supposed to be crazy strong.
