I've searched the web over, and my not be typing in the write thing. But I've also talked to a few people at auto parts stores and they told me what the problem might be.

When trying to switch my from my main vent to defrost or foot vents (any vents other than main) nothing happens. I CAN change the AC to recycled air or not. Heat is worked as well.

I was told that the problem could be the Blend Door Actuator. I went to a junkyard and got one, but the problem persists. Unless that actuator is messed up in the same exact way.

Is there anyone here that could help me figure out what this is before I go back to the junkyard and spend the time taking the AC control unit out of the car?

 

Have you tested the mode control motor?

 

Actually, just before I went back to the junkyard I found only two things on the internet about the mode control motor. One of them was from you from 2010. I searched like crazy to find out about that part but found nothing else on it. I went ahead and exchanged the part I got yesterday for that and it was indeed the problem! So, your post from 2010 helped!
