inboard joint won't come free from half shaft.
So I had to cut the boot on the inboard side of the driver axle due to snapping my breaker bar. plus I was in need of a new axel anyways lol my problem now Is I can't get the joint free from the half shaft (the half shaft is off the car). have tried prying with a crow bar with no success any special trick to the half shft/driver side axel getting removed.

Had the best luck seperating these tough ones by putting a chisel between them (not maring the shaft) with a bit of tension now applied; then smack the half shaft CV with a hammer blow. This has always worked on the tough ones for me.
which joint are you saying that is stuck? and what is it stuck to? I'm guessing what you're trying to say is that the inner joint is stuck to the intermediate shaft?

I always have had to remove the half shaft as well In order to separate. A lot easier when your not on your back under a car.
i'll give it one last go i'm hitting the axel joint side. I cut the boot and left the main portion of the axel in the spindle/knuckle.
