Civic pulls to the right during braking
My 2009 Civic LX pulls slightly to the right during stopping. It doesn't pull during the entire braking sequence just when it gets to a certain point, usually around 20-40 mph. You can feel the steering wheel make a sudden jerk right in your hands.
Here is what we have done:
1) replaced calipers
2) replaced rotors and pads
3) bled brake lines
4) checked brake lines for kinks (none found)
None of these things helped. The car also drives straight without the brakes engaged, so we have ruled out alignment issues as well. I am running out of ideas on what it could be. I have searched the web extensively and have not found any solutions. If anybody has any ideas on what I need to check, please help me out. Thanks

Check your wheels and tires.
I had the same problem with my integra when I bought some gsr blades for it,
as soon as I put them on the car started pulling to the right during breaking, and my alignment was off,
went back to the original rims and everything went back to normal.

I'm assuming new parts ? What brand pads ? Had this same problem my caliper sliders were dry , no grease took them off re greased them replaced boots and car brakes perfectly now .
I few things to also consider... maybe your tires have worn down a certain way that it will make the car put to the right or your wheels are a little bent?

It's not so much of a pull as it is a sudden jerk. Almost like it's braking normally, then all of a sudden I lose brake pressure momentarily and then it comes back. Thanks for the help, I will keep tinkering around when I get the chance.
I have a 2009 Civic EX-L that is doing what you are describing. Doesn't twitch with real light braking but as I push more then there is a sudden jerk in the steering. I have changed brake lines, bushings and links. New pads earlier this year but original rotors. It sounds a lot like your problem. Did you ever figure out what was the cause? I don't want to throw too many more parts at it.
Idk if anyone has figured this out but I'm having this issue. My steering wheel recently went misaligned it's turned slight left when going straight . When applying sorta hard brakes the steering wheel jerks to the right almost back where it's supposed to be . My theories are1. Something wrong with the steering rack when applying hard brake the vacuum used causes the rack to jerk.
2. Caliper locking or sticking
3. Extremely worn motor mount shifts the whole motor when hard braking.

I took to Honda dealer who couldn’t figure it out. I changed brakes, brake lines, sway bar, tie rod, struts and steering rack. Finally, driving the car back and forth trying to observe at low speed, I could see the wheel assembly moving under braking. If the brakes were held continuously after stopping, the wheel assembly stayed shifted until the brakes were released. I crawled under the car to watch while the brakes were released and could see the front mount for the lower A arm moving. The rubber bushing in the front of the A Arm had failed. It was an aftermarket part that was only a year old. Not obvious looking at the bushing while installed. Replaced it and the jerking during braking went away. Hope this helps.
