Another Newbie Wanting Turbo info!!
If I lower the compression ratio on a H23 to allow me to run 10-12 psi safely, won't I lose a lot of acceleration in the bottom end? If so, is there any way of getting that off the line acceleration back?
Would it help to get a lightened flywheel?
Or should I just stay with stock internals and run lower boost?
faster 0-60mph is what I am after

flywheel helps spoolage alot. but if u get to light u willnt have traction. get a 3 inch dp and a 3 inch exhaust that will help spool. runing 10 psi on 8:5:1 is kinda like running 8 psi on 10:0:1. (there is actually a formula but i dont know it)..if u are looking for 0-60 with a turbo i would get someting small. like a TD05 or someting.
there's food for thought
I was actually looking at a t3 or something, all the mechanics near me says I would best go with something big cause the engine is a 2.3L. That was cool with me, but I figured the lag would kill my acceleration.

depends if you know someone to tune it.
if you have enough loot for powerfc, you might as well get AEM and get someone to tune it. at least you wont be converting all the metric measurements with the AEM like you would be doing with the pfc
