Default 1989 honda civic hatch dx overheating

Hey my 1.5 L civic is having a overheating problem, I've replaced the water pump and the thermostat, cooling fan works, flushed out my radiator but it still overheats within 10 minutes of driving in the beginning of the day. People are telling me i have a blown head gasket but there isn't any white smoke coming out of the exhaust. Any ideas?
