when i bought the vehicle it came with a cool start remote and the ignition switch was disabled. the push to start remote/module crapped out so i removed it and wired the ignition back the way it was suppose to be but the vehicle will still not start. its a 1995 civic ex manual. i checked fuses and all are good. when i try to put the key into the third position it acts like its in the second position and the fuel pump comes back on. if you leave the key in the second position and use a screwdriver on the starter it fires right up. my question is do i have bad ignition switch, relay or wire? thanks.

 

sounds like the wire to the solenoid is still disconnected from the ignition switch or your car was an and they swapped it to 5 speed and didn't do it right.
