Car won't start...Clutch interlock switch, Ignition or Starter
Alright making some progress here, but the del sol still won't start correctly. Once again the car will not even turn over or make any clicking noises at all. I do hear the fuel pump come on when I turn the key, so I don't think it's the master relay. Could this also rule out the ignition switch?
I think I've found the clutch interlock switch under the dash, but it feels like the previous owner has modified it because there are no wires coming out of the back. He probably just disconnected the sensor and wired the pin's together like what has been suggested. What is the easiest way to get a clear view of this sucker so I can see what he did?
I bypassed the ignition system by connecting the positive terminal to the starter solenoid terminal. I did it incorrect first because I thought you touched the big wire. I touched the smaller connection on the second try and it worked. Where do I go from here?

The clutch switch is right above the peddle. If you unplug it you can jump the connector to bypass the switch. I have this done in my sedan works fine, just have to remember not to start in gear with out the clutch engaged.

I'm guessing the previous owner modified the clutch interlock because I don't see or feel any wire's coming out of it. Would I just remove the fuse panel to gain access to the sensor?

removing the lower cover would probably be advised in order to get a good look at the area in question.
