Title says it all. Can't find anything online. I've googled it with no results. I got a line on a pair of mint seats (power/heated) for a steal. I wanna put em in my hatch. Any input is appreciated

 

Don't see why you couldn't make them fit. Would have to do some fab work for the rails and powering the seat. But it can be done. It's almost the same as putting 2009 Civic Si seats in older Hondas, and that's been done.

 

thats what I figured. I just want some input before i buy em lol. I know at the very least I'll have to fab up some rails. My neighbor is a welder/machinist so he can make me anything I need lol

 

That's the only thing I could see being difficult. Get yourself a wiring diagram of the seats if you want the power portion to work. If not, just hard mount them where you want them.

The heated option is something built into the seat. So once you figure out wiring on the seat put yourself a switch. If you want to go fall crazy you could try to wire in the select able setting switch.

 

I have CL-S seats in my EJ6. You'll have to do some fab work on the brackets, but the wiring is relatively straight forward. If you've ever worked with a soldering iron before, it should be easy for you.

You will need about a dozen 5 pin relays, though.

 

CL n tl seats are fairly similar correct? I have electronics experience I've just never swapped anything like this before. I had 2 4g preludes last and I loved the stock seats.

 

Personally I'd just mount them where you want them and not really worry about the heat or power. But since you do want the heat option just do what jbpnoman suggested and get the wiring diagram for them and get to work.

As for pics...Yes, my car is dirty as hell, and yes, those are Acura EL rear leather seats. The CL-S seats sit an inch or two higher than stock seats, but at 5'10", I have no problems.

those look great man. IM pickin the seats up this weekend. $150 and they're mint. Do u have better pics of ur rears? I wanna put leather in back too and everyone has GSRs already. Thats why I like the TL seats bc they're dif. I'm also currently fabbing a custom cowl style hood to help with clearance for my h2b swap (in progress). Plus I think it'll look bad *** too as well as be entirely functional.

 

I mean, they're just stock EL rear seats.




Not my car, but quick Google image searches. Direct fit for 96-00 sedans, but I can't speak for the 5G chassis. They're basic black leather, direct fit, and use all OEM 6G hinges, bolts, and latches. CDM only, though, so either drive to Canada, or get ready to pay out the *** for shipping. You'll need to do your own research for your chassis, though.
